Patriot’s Day is a holiday commemorating the first battles of the American Revolutionary war which is celebrated in Boston each year on the third Monday in April. This patriotic holiday always makes for a fun day of festivities, featuring an annual Patriot’s Day parade and flag-raising. The Boston Marathon is also run each year on Patriot’s Day, and the Red Sox plays at Fenway Park on the holiday as a matter of tradition. Beer lovers should also be sure to check out the Boston Beer Summit, a craft beer tasting that has been running for over 20 years.
