Rain-seeking Ceremony festival
In drought years, people who live in Long An’s agricultural production areas, usually organize rain-seeking ceramonies, and worship
Heaven and Earth in the hopes that the deities will grant them rain. The ceremony has two parts: the traditional rituals, and boating racing competition on the rivers
and irrigation canals. In some other places, they also hold dragon dances.
After the boat-racing contest, people often flock toghether toward the village’s Communal House to do worship once again to
feasts and to enjoy themselves.

Old House with 120 columns
This house was built in 1901 in the village of Long Huu Dong. The architecture and sculpture of the house were realized by 15 clever and skillful northern workers.
The ornaments on the ends of the columns are good representation of luxuriant vegetation with trees, flowers, and even birds.

Rach Coc Port
Rach Coc Port, built in 1903, is one of the greatest ports in Vietnam. It is 200m long and 100m wide. It has five floors among
which three are underground. Standing near the cannons on the proof, one may contemplate the beautiful landscapes of Go Cong River area.
Ton Thanh Pagoda
The Ton Thanh Pagoda belongs to Thanh Ba quarter in My Loc village. Ton Thanh pagoda , built in 1808 by northern emigrants, is
the oldest pagoda in Long AN. Vietnamese poet Nguyen Dinh Chieu lived in this pagoda from 1859 to 1861.
